Do you know that life is like a jackpot machine?You win big and you lose bigger.What I meant is that you enjoyed your time with the one you loved but after you have a lot of fun, you are dumped.You spent hundreds of dollars on her and without you realizing it, she is with another guy.All your money is gone like that without any feeling of satisfaction.This is exactly what happened to my best friend.He is 17 this year and his last relationship with his girlfriend is last year where he was dumped by her.He is working at Long John Silver at Plaza Singapura and he is getting his salary the day he is going out with his girlfriend.Believe it or not that he spent $300 on 1 night and he is really feeling regretted on that same night.Just 1 week after the date, he saw his date going out with another guy holding hands at Wisma Atria.He is totally depressed.I could not believe it too.

The Happenings of My Life (3)

Went to Seoul garden with my friend at Woodland.I could not believe that we went all the way to Woodland just to eat our lunch because the Seoul Garden in Ang Mo Kio has closed down.I really enjoyed my time there.There is so much variety of food to choose from until we took 1 of everything because I just wanted to try all the food there.We sat there eating for 3 long hours and my mouth is tired keep chewing and chewng all the food.Luckily we did not miss any of the food there because I have not been to Seoul Garden for a long long time.It is good to go there once in a while.Not to eat too much or ur body will become like 'Shrek'.

I went to watch Fantastic Four 2 at Cathay Cineplex at AMK Hub with 1 of my schoolmate.It is a show with no regrets when you watch it.I really enjoyed the movie a lot.Just want to give you 1 useful tip when you want to watch a movie.Never watch the sequel of a movie when you have not watched the first part of the movie because you would not understand what happen in the sequel of the movie because it is continued from part 1.I watched Pirates Of The Carribean 3 without watching part 2 and I do not understand the storyline of the part 3 movie.Totally regreted it.What a waste of time and money.

The Happenings Of My Life

The date is 13 June 2007,and it is the day my classmates had a chalet.It is kind of boring because there were not many people came for it and I think it is a waste of time to go for the chalet.I knew it is going to be boringo I brought 2 of my friends along to accompany me.In the morning around 10am,my friends and I went to the Pasir Ris Park for a swim since it is quite near to the chalet resort.We spent about 2 hours there and went to Downtown East for lunch.Then we meet some of my classmates there.We stayed there for about 3-4 hours.At around 8+,my friends and I went to Far East Plaza to eat free food at Long John Silver because 1 of my friend is working there.After our late dinner,we went to Vivo City andhang out there until 8am.My friend went back after that and I went back to the chalet for a nice comfortable nap.

My Ambition(1)

My ambition is to be an air-force pilot..I want to be a pilot because I like to fly.I like being at the top of the world and I would be able to see a spectacular view below.I feel like I am flying whenever I am in an airplane.It is difficult for me to achieve my ambition but I will try my very best and put in all my effort to achieve my ambition.It requires a good education to be a pilot.So firstly I need to really improve on my studies before achieving my ambition.Its my dream to fly a fighter plane one day after I like flying in the sky at top speed.I like watching movies on wars where pilots flew fighter plane in war.Its my dream to fly a fighter plane during my NS.I even like to play games where fighter planes are involved.For me its so cool to fly a fighter plane. Being an air force pilot is very challenging.You will get to fly some of the world's most modern aircraft, employing the most advanced weapon systems. And work with a team of highly trained professionals.It is also a career that will optimize your talent as you hone your skills with the world's best Air Forces; participate in real-life operations. The training programme will include all subjects related to the craft of flying.Ultimately, nothing can beat the exhilaration of earning your set of 'wings'. The mark of prestige and the supreme recognition of your achievements. But this is only the beginning. A career as a Pilot also means you are a leader and professional all rolled into one.

My Reflection At The Career Fair 2007

Last friday,2nd March 2007 I went to a career fair held at Halls 601 – 603, Level 6, Suntec Singapore from 1 March-4 March.It is an career exhibition where public could make their career choices.

I went to the fair with students from Secondary 2-5 and I had alot of fun there discovering all the types of existing jobs there.My purpose of going to the fair is to plan about what type of jobs I am interested in and find out more about the jobs.For example,I need to find out the requirements for the job,job scope and whether the job is relevant in the future.So with this useful information,I could carefully planned my career.

I learned a lot of things there.I get to discover a lot of jobs there and I can find out information about the job.There is a poker dealer dealing poker cards in the middle of the fair so I could see myself how the job is like.It is really a fun and useful experience for me.

Comments on National Education(Our global city, Our home)

I am writing this comments on what I have learnt after watching a video clip during English lesson last week.

Singapore is our homeland and we must do whatever it take for our country.We live in a multi-racial country and we together regardless of race, language or religion must together defend Singapore.If we fly to other country to study or work,who will take care of our homeland.Singapore is a very tiny island and it is easy for other country to conquer Singapore.Our defense forces cannot defend Singapore themselves.We as a nation must together defend Singapore.We must show to other country that we can together as a multi-racial nation can defend Singapore.If we cannot live in Singapore with other different races, we cannot live peacefully and racial riots will occur frequently.So it is important to strengthen bonds with other races.We must have a sense of belonging to Singapore because Singapore is where we live.The government has done their best for us and we must do the same for them.

We Singaporeans can consider ourselves lucky to be here living in Singapore.We have a great government who have done their best for us.Unlike other countries who is facing problems like war etc.We does not have these problems.Majority of people living here are immigrants from countries like India and China.Even though many here are immigrants, they must also have a sense of belonging to Singapore because this is the place they live in and without Singapore they would be suffering in their own country.

So in conclusion, we Singaporeans must have a sense of belonging to Singapore and together defend Singapore regardless of race or religion because Singapore is our home land and if not us, who will defend our home.
